The category clusters tightly on price and splits on purpose. Consumer trackers sit at roughly $40–50 a year, so price is not how you choose. The genuine gap is that almost nothing models HRT as a regimen — dose, formulation, change dates — rather than as a tick on a day.

Two things worth checking in any app you choose
Privacy. A 2023 systematic review of 28 UK menopause apps found 32 percent indicated third-party data sharing. Read the privacy policy, not the landing page.
Whether it produces anything a clinician can use. The same review found most apps lacked any mechanism for sharing data with a provider or exporting structured records — which is odd, given that preparing for appointments is a main reason people track.
